Vor langer Zeit besuchte ich während 2 Jahren den Kurs in Fotografie an der Schule für Gestaltung in Basel. Damals war ja alles noch schön analog mit allem drum und dran. Den Film selbst entwickelnd und in der Dunkelkammer gebannt auf die Abzüge im Entwicklerbad schauend und wegen Anfängerfehlern auch mal Verluste verzeichnend. Was die Leidenschaft keinesfalls schmälerte. Im Gegenteil. Noch immer fange ich liebend gerne «Kunstwerke des Lebens» ein – inzwischen digital und damit zugegebenermassen etwas verschwenderischer. Gerne und spontan darf es auch mit der Handy-Kamera sein, denn schliesslich zählt hier der Moment und das Motiv. Und die Qualität ist ja dank dem technischem Fortschritt erstaunlich gut.
Die Arbeit läuft dir nicht davon, wenn du deinem Kind den Regenbogen zeigst. Aber der Regenbogen wartet nicht, bis du mit deiner Arbeit fertig bist.
